How Can We Help?

For your convenience, we’ve put together a list of some of the most common questions we are asked and their respective answers. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, drop us a line and we’ll do our best to get you the information as soon as possible.

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

You dont require a formal referral to see a physiotherapist. Physiotherapists are known as “first contact” practitioners which means that we have the necessary skills to examine, DIAGNOSE, treat and advise our patients with no previous input or referral from a doctor

Although physiotherapists are primary care providers, some extended health insurance plans require a doctor’s referral in order to reimburse you for your physiotherapy sessions. Check with your extended health provider.

What should I bring to my appointment?

If you have had any imaging then bring your scans and reports. If there is anything else you think is relevant – such as training programs, feel free to bring it along otherwise your Physio will be able to tell you at the appointment if they will require anything else from you.

Can the physiotherapist refer me for X-Rays or Imaging?

The physiotherapist can either refer directly for a scan or send you to the doctor to get a referral for one.

Is there parking?

Yes, available in-house parking
